On September 3, at around 12:14 a.m., something occurred on Township Road 25 in Jackson Township.
When Bucell’s 2021 Polaris 570 veered off the right side of the road and slid into a streambed, he was carrying a young passenger.
Although Bucell was transported by United Ambulance to Marietta Memorial Hospital, he passed away due to his injuries, and the child passenger did not need transportation.

We bring to you with great sadness the news of the loss of Parma resident Nicholas S. Bucell, 34.
After a Polaris accident in Noble County, Nicholas, who was affectionately referred to as Nick by his friends and family, sadly passed away from his wounds.
On September 3, at around 12:14 a.m., an event took place on Jackson Township’s Township Road 25.
Nick was driving a 2021 Polaris 570 with a young passenger in tow.
The preliminary investigation indicates that the car swerved off the right side of the road and flipped into a creek bed as soon as they hit Township Road 25 and started traveling south.
Nick was taken to Marietta Memorial Hospital by United Ambulance as soon as emergency personnel arrived on the site.
Unfortunately, Nick Bucell’s injuries were too serious, and he died away at the hospital despite the medical staff’s best efforts.
Nicholas Bucell’s family, friends, and the community he was a member of have all been deeply affected by his passing.

Tragically, Nick Bucell perished in a deadly collision in Noble County. The incident happened on Jackson Township’s Township Road 25 on Sunday at around 12:15 a.m.
The collision involved 34-year-old Parma resident Bucell driving a 2021 Polaris 570 with a young passenger, according to the State Highway Patrol’s Cambridge Post.
According to preliminary inquiry results, Bucell ran off the right side of the road and flipped into a streambed.
Nick Bucell tragically gave up on his wounds in the hospital, despite the best efforts of medical personnel.
Thankfully, the little passenger did not have any injuries that required medical treatment and did not need to be sent to a medical institution.
Bucell was not wearing a helmet when the accident occurred, and authorities don’t believe drinking had a role in the collision.
In order to determine the precise cause and circumstances of the collision, the Ohio State Highway Patrol is now looking into the event.
