UFC superstar Nate Diaz is a professional mixed martial artist. He competed in the Ultimate Fighting Championship for over 15 years.
This summer, Nate will reportedly combat Jake Paul in a boxing ring in Dallas, Texas.

The 37-year-old Nate Diaz is one of the most recognizable UFC combatants. The professional mixed martial artist is scheduled to combat YouTube star Jake Paul in a boxing match on August 5 in Dallas, Texas, according to TMZ.

The event will be broadcast live on Pay-Per-View, according to Jake’s Most Valuable Promotions and Nate’s Real Fight Inc.

Jake posted an Instagram photo promoting the upcoming fight with the caption,

“On August 5th, we will honor Nathaniel Diaz’s memorial by returning him in a casket to Dana White. There will be refreshments at the service. Black Tie Dress” Nate shared the same image but did not include a caption.

1) His MMA career began when he was an adolescent

After beginning martial arts training at the age of 11, Nate fought Robert Limon in a mixed martial arts match in 2002, when he was 17 years old.

He ultimately made his professional MMA debut, competing primarily for World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC). It was reportedly his first competitive experience. In 2006, he fought Hermes Franca for the WEC Lightweight Championship but lost in the second round.

2) Nate won Ultimate Fighter Season 5

When Nate was a contestant on The Ultimate Fighter 5 and fought on Jens Pulver’s team, he received a great deal of attention. He advanced to the finals and competed against his colleague Manvel Gamburyan after a series of matches.

Manvel was forced to withdraw in the second round due to a dislocated shoulder, allowing him to win by submission. The victory led him to fight for over 15 years in the UFC, establishing him as a UFC superstar.

3) He partnered with his sibling in other business ventures.

In Stockton, California, Nate and his brother Nick Diaz, who is also a professional MMA fighter competing for UFC, ran a Brazilian jiu-jitsu school together. It is known as Nick Diaz Academy.

As cannabis advocates, Nate and Nick own a licensed line of marijuana pre-rolls manufactured by California Finest and founded a CBD company called Game Up Nutrition.

Nate announced in September 2022 that he was launching his own combat sports promotion company, Real Fight Inc.

4) Nate engaged in an altercation at a prior boxing match featuring Jake Paul.

In October 2022, Nate was involved in an altercation backstage at the Jake Paul vs. Anderson Silva boxing match. According to reports, he slapped a member of Jake’s staff, making headlines.

This caused him to be removed from the event. After the fight, Jake commented on Nate’s actions. “Nate Diaz was behaving like a whore here. Everyone desires this conflict.

He attempted to fight individuals in the entryway. “Nate, stop fighting people for free, and let’s do this in the ring,” he reportedly said.

According to reports, Nate is the father of two daughters. One was born in June 2018 while the other was delivered in August 2022.
