Arnelle Simpson- Birth, Age, Ethnicity, Siblings, Education
Arnelle was born in the United States of America on December 4, 1968, and grew up surrounded by celebrity and fortune because she was born during the time when her father was one of the finest professional American Football players of his generation. She was reared with three siblings, one of them died at the age of two after drowning in the family pool. However, her pleasant family life was shattered when her father began a relationship with Nicole Brown, resulting in her parents’ divorce.
Her father then worked in broadcasting and acquired acting roles, indicating a successful post-retirement career away from professional sports. Her father eventually married Brown, giving her two half-siblings through him. However, after seven years of marriage, the couple split, albeit they reconciled after a year. Her mother, on the other hand, would make more friends outside of her ex-network, husband’s leading to one of the most infamous occurrences in their family history.

In terms of her personal life, Arnelle has been romantically linked to a number of celebrities, but none of them have ever been confirmed. In 1995, she was alleged to be dating professional basketball player Shaquille O’Neal in a short-lived romance. The next year, there were reports that she dated rapper Anthony Treach Crisis for a year, although there is no proof to back up these claims. According to multiple accounts, she now resides in Fresno, California.
The O.J. Simpson Trial
Arnelle’s mother and her mother’s friend Ron Goldman were found stabbed to death outside her mother’s Los Angeles condo in 1994. Her father rapidly became a person of interest in the murders, and he became the target of a low-speed pursuit because he refused to turn himself into the authorities. The pursuit, arrest, and following trial would become one of the most publicized events in the country, with many dubbing it the “trial of the century” due to the international attention it received. After an 11-month trial, the jury returned a “not guilty” conviction for the two murders.
There have been no other arrests or convictions in connection with the murders since then. The verdict elicited varied reactions, with many in the African American community believing it was deserved, while others did not. Arnelle was a recurring character in the televised court case until its conclusion. The problems persisted, as Ron Goldman’s family brought a civil complaint against Simpson, which resulted in Simpson being sentenced to pay more than $33 million in costs.
Book and Other Difficulties
In 2007, a book written by ghostwriter Pablo Fenjves under OJ Simpson’s name was released, in which he outlines the hypothetical depiction of the two victims’ deaths. Publishers allegedly coerced Simpson into doing an interview for the book to be written in his name in order to generate more exposure. According to several sources, Arnelle was one of the people who pushed him to write the book. Although the original distribution was canceled shortly after it was announced, around 400,000 physical copies of the original book were still printed.
A bankruptcy court later awarded the Goldman family royalties from the book’s sale to partially satisfy the civil judgment. As a result, the title of the book was changed from “OJ Simpson: If I Did It, Here’s How It Happened” to “If I Did It: Confessions of a Killer.” This was not the end of his problems, as he was caught the following year when attempting a robbery at the Palace Station hotel-casino, attempting to seize sports memorabilia at gunpoint. He then served nearly nine years of a 33-year prison term before being granted parole in 2017.
Social Media
Arnelle has mostly stayed out of the spotlight after the big trial, and even after her father got into more difficulty. One method she maintains her privacy is by not having an account on any of the big online social media networks — she does not have accounts on websites such as Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. One of the reasons she avoids a lot of public engagement is because her father has had a lot of attention and unfavorable publicity for most of his life. This is also a strategy to keep prying eyes away from her personal life and to avoid disclosing too much about her current pursuits. Her father has also stepped away from the spotlight since his release from prison.
