She had enough experience after completing all of her internships to begin working on her own; she was hired by the Fox-affiliated KQDS as their new weekend anchor and weekday reporter, covering Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan.

Tracee’s efforts were rewarded with not one, but two Upper Midwest Emmy Award nominations, following her reports on “Honest Northland Series” and “A Tribute to Ben Larson: Missionary Killed in Haiti’s Earthquake.” She left KQDS after a year and a half to work for WKRN News 2, an ABC affiliate based in Nashville, Tennessee. She was employed as a stand-in anchor and reporter and worked there from August 2011 to June 2013.
Her next stop was New York and the CBS affiliate WCBS-TV, followed by WLNY 10/55, another CBS affiliate in New York.

Tracee accepted an offer from the Fox Business Network in May 2017 as a general assignment reporter, despite having more than five years of experience as a journalist and news reporter. Tracee has since participated in several shows on the channel, beginning with “The Claman Countdown” and “After the Bell,” and progressing to “Mornings with Maria Bartiromo,” where she shares her thoughts and assessments on recent financial events.
