Amelia Rose Blair was born on November 20, 1987, in New York, USA, but grew up and continues to live in Los Angeles, where she pursues her acting career. She had a liking for ballet as a child and hoped to make it her career. Amelia discovered her passion for acting after performing as a Vaudeville dancer in her high school’s production of “Bye Bye Birdie.”
She began taking classes at The Sanford Meisner Center for the Arts in Los Angeles, California, when she was fifteen years old. Amelia discovered that adult classes would be more beneficial to her than those for her age group, and the center made an exception for her because she was under the age of eighteen. She finished their two-year curriculum and spent the summer in London with the British American Drama Academy, where she studied Shakespeare.
Following her time in London, Amelia began working with Oscar-nominated actress Lindsay Crouse, who introduced her to New York City’s Atlantic Theater Company, which was founded by William H.
