After months of flirtatious conversations, Andrew eventually proposed a date to Kara. Their relationship developed over time. It turned out that they actually lived about a quarter mile apart in Los Angeles, which only served to bring them closer even after the film had ended.
Even getaways for two were taken. The pair traveled by car from Chigaco to Los Angeles in the summer of 2015, stopping along the way to meet family members and see sights. They traveled to Grand Canyon, a place they had both been before, but not together.
Andrew got down on one knee and gave Kara the beautiful ring while they were standing there at the edge of the Canyon. In an instant, Kara accepted the marriage proposal. The pair made their decision to exchange wedding vows a year later. The wedding took place on May 14, 2016, and a reception was hosted at Jobes Barn at Willow Creek Ranch.
They have been declared husband and wife for more than two years now. Although Kara and Andrew are still going strong, it does not appear that they have any immediate intentions to become parents.
