Troye Sivan became well-known for his singing on YouTube and for competing in local talent shows. Sivan’s portrayal of the teenage Wolverine in the 2009 movie X-Men Origins: Wolverine helped him become a well-known actor around the world. Sivan has participated in a variety of conversations on being homosexual since coming out. Due to his efforts to advance inclusivity and equality, he is regarded by many as a Pride icon.
At the beginning of 2020, Sivan and his long-term ex-boyfriend Jacob Bixenman discreetly called it quits.
Sivan and Jacob met at a fashion event in 2016 and started dating almost immediately. After a short period of dating, Sivan moved in with Jacob in Los Angeles and they quickly began spending a lot of time together. Sivan explained to Attitude what drew him to Jacob in the following ways:
“I don’t know, I mean, I think he has a youthful, captivating energy about him. I believe that people are compelled to love him. He simply has one of those personalities that appeal to others.
After dating for four years, Sivan and Jacob, unfortunately, appear to have broken up. Fans of the couple first detected that all was not right when the couple forgot to post their usual February anniversary tribute to each other on social media. It was then stated that Sivan left the couple’s house in LA to stay with his relatives in Australia.
Additionally, the couple’s posts regarding one another stopped. Although the pair haven’t officially confirmed their breakup, the signs are there. In a Dream, Sivan’s most recent EP purportedly touches on his painful breakup. PinkNews cites Sivan as saying:

Sivan told PopCrush,
“It was a long ago, back when it was a little bit less accepted and a little bit more dangerous.“
Troy managed to get a date, but he appeared uninterested in the celebrity and demonstrated this insensitively by having the date begin using Grindr in front of Sivan.
“I thought, ‘Okay. I believe I’ll just go home,” Troye declared.
Sivan identified as a “serial monogamist.” He said,
“I’m not sure. I’ve only ever been in a few relationships, but they’ve always been back-to-back”.
Troye later stated during the interview that he would have liked to replace Timothée Chalamet in the homosexual love story Call Me By Your Name. Going at that would have been enjoyable, he remarked. “The book and movie were both very lovely.”
Sivan acknowledged that Chalamet did a fantastic job with the part. He also liked how LGBT people were portrayed in the movie. He clarified:
“I genuinely believe that was the first character I have ever looked at and thought, “I 100% relate to that individual. ” I like everything about him, even down to his body type and appearance. It’s odd. I think, “That’s my body,” as I gaze at his frame. very thin, with little nipples, and pallid. I am it in every way, right down to the nipples.
