King Von (full name: Dayvon Daquan Bennett) rose to stardom as a result of the success of his Crazy Story track in December 2018. King Von was born to Taesha and Walter E. Bennett on August 9, 1994. Four half-siblings, Kayla B, Yung Bogo, Sky, and Louie V, shared his upbringing. King Von made sure his two children would be financially comfortable for the rest of their lives
Two children were left behind by King Von following his passing. According to a post by one of his baby mothers, Kema, Von may have had a vision of his demise. King Von, according to Kema, “prepped me for this” and “coaxed on what to do if this happened,” in his journal entry. The post dated November 8, 2020, also stated:
On November 15, 2020, a private funeral service was performed in Chicago due to safety concerns for King Von. The burial was not publicized by the media since the site was kept a secret.

King Von had the moniker Grandson because he was said to be related to David Barksdale, the man who founded the Black Disciples.
