At the moment, the actor was suffering from the prop teeth, which he needed to wear to resemble Potts. The prop was difficult to keep, especially when kissing, and Corden struggled with it; yet, he managed to pull it off on camera.
To reproduce James as Potts, the producers had to make the prop as lifelike as possible, and the likeness was genuinely uncanny. James’s appearance has never changed dramatically, hinting that he has not undergone any cosmetic procedures.
