In connection with the slaying of Laurie Tagaloa on July 11 in a Brisbane food court incident, police have now detained a suspect.
According to a news.com.au article, Queensland Police have detained a 20-year-old male on suspicion of killing a 24-year-old man on July 11 at the Valley Metro close to the Fortitude Valley train station.
According to a statement given to the local media by Queensland Police Inspector Sean Cryer, police were checking the Brisbane City Council’s CCTV system when they spotted a disturbance taking place in the public.

The most recent evidence indicates that a fight started in Brunswick St. Mall on Monday, July 11, 2022, at about 4 AM. Two parties were involved in the conflict between the two factions that resulted in the death of Lauie Tagaloa, 24.
According to Sean Cryer, the inspector of Brisbane police, “Police were watching the Brisbane City Council CCTV system when they saw a disturbance taking place in the public.”

The two parties got into a heated dispute that started in mayhem and ended in a deadly accident.
Reports state that Laurie Tagaloa, 24, was repeatedly stabbed by the defaulter. As a result of significant bleeding, before he had an hour to live, his body completely lost all of its abilities.
Despite this, a concerned official transported him to the nearest hospital so the staff there could use insulation and medication to save his life.
Nothing could be done to thwart God’s plan, though, because he had already left this world.
