Christo August, often referred to as Roc Royal and Santo August, is a former member of the boy band Mindless Behavior and an American rapper, dancer, and actor.
Because of his character, Gamble gave August the stage name Roc Royal. He showed his toughness by using the alternate spelling “roc” for “rock.” On the other hand, “Royal” was intended to highlight his kinder, nicer side.

In July 2014, August punched a man in front of the camera, and he uploaded the video on his own Instagram account. He took the video off from his page, but it finally made it to YouTube and was shared by hundreds of people.
In the footage, August, who is not wearing a shirt, approaches a man who is hunching over a bicycle and repeatedly punches him before kicking him in the face. Those close to him, including friends, claimed that the person owed money to August, though no specific amount of debt was given.
Four months later, in November 2014, after producer Chris Clark’s BMW 325i was stolen during a studio session with Santo, August was identified as the main suspect.
Clark had left the car keys on a table in the studio, but when he went to leave, both the keys and August had disappeared. August refused to comply, so Clark contacted the authorities.
In February 2016, August was detained on charges of robbery and violence. He consented to a two-year prison term in April, and he started serving it in July.
In a phone conversation from behind bars in January 2021, August announced a brand-new YouTube profile called Santo August Music, where he will post music and updates.

The rapper was qualified to be freed in the spring of 2017 for upholding his great behavior, however, he was not released at that time owing to some unknown factors.
Additionally, August’s family asserted that he would be released in May 2017. August posted a selfie of himself with the hashtag and went on Instagram Live to explain to followers about his situation.
However, sources claim that he is still behind bars and that no information regarding his release has been made public.
While he was incarcerated, a few of his songs were made public. “I’m The Plug” and “I Choose Her” were released in March 2016. August is developing a project that will be made public once he is released from custody.
