Professor of health sciences Alberto Friedmann was charged with a hate crime earlier this month after reportedly spitting on a Black mother and her kid and hurling racist epithets. Additionally, he was charged with assault after allegedly driving aggressively toward her and almost colliding with her in the parking lot of the shop.
Doctor in Kinesiology Exercise Science and neurology, Alberto is a 53-year-old. He teaches neuro kinesiology at the National University of Health Sciences, according to his attorney, who announced his court hearing on Sunday.
He graduated from South Illinois University with a master’s in science and kinesiology and from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis with a doctorate.
In addition to being a professor, he is also a master martial artist and has coached the US Martial Arts team, according to his LinkedIn profile. He also previously held the position of professor at Indiana University.

He stepped out of his car and started walking toward her, calling her racist epithets. Prosecutors claim that since he dislikes black people, he pushed back the car door as she sought to open it and spat on her.
When she couldn’t discover his license plate number while trying to get out of her car to record it, she requested someone to phone the police.
The defendant then sped off, heading in her direction. She said that to prevent getting struck, she had to move aside. Later, he struck her car twice. He got out of his car again, but this time witnesses stopped him, and soon after that he was taken into custody.
