Rudy Giuliani stopped at the store to promote his son Andrew’s bid for governor of New York. He was then hit in the back by a fellow employee.
Investigators said that the person called Giuliani and said, “What’s up scumbag?” Giuliani stated to a news outlet that he felt the blow to his back and was about to pass out.
He then gave a speech in which he declared that he would not be frightened by attacks from the left. As governor, he added, he would work to maintain law and order so that New Yorkers could feel safe.
Rudy Giuliani urges citizens to support his son in the election
Rudy Giuliani recently made a pitch for his son at the New York State Capitol, pleading with the press to give Andrew a chance.
To reach his constituents, Andrew dispatched his father to various areas of upstate New York. Reporters have been waiting for Rudy as he travels in a minivan. The broader public has benefited from Andrew’s speech as they make their election decisions.
Since Andrew has one of the most well-known surnames among the candidates standing in the elections, he will undoubtedly prevail. His father has routinely joined him from the start of the campaign, raising his profile over time.
Andrew worked as the President’s special assistant and the Office of Public Liaison’s deputy director during the Trump administration.
