Britney Spears is back to her previous grandeur. According to rumors, she is writing new songs and looking for collaborators. Involuntary conservatorship over Spears was instituted by her father, Jamie Spears, on February 1st, 2008, and lasted until November 20th, 2021.
Fans and adherents of the “Queen of Pop” started the Free Britney Movement (#FreeBritney) to protest Jamie and the conservatorship. After 13 years of legal wrangling, Britney Spears was finally released.
The pop sensation continued to work and make records while she was under Jamie’s management. However, she was under a duty to do so at the time.
Glory, Britney’s most recent record, was made available in September 2016. Since then, she hasn’t worked on any new songs, albums, tours, or collaborations. However, the singer of “If U Seek Amy” seems to be having success with her new efforts now that she has regained her independence.

Ever since she was released from conservatorship, Britney has made suggestions that she is focusing on new endeavors. She did, however, claim on Instagram in December 2021 that withholding new music was a way for her to exact revenge on her family.
Since she didn’t want to lose money on them, she didn’t release any new songs or albums. Once the ‘Womanizer’ singer awoke from her 13-year-old nightmare, she was ready to start singing and creating music once more.
The singer uploaded a video on December 22, 2021, showcasing her singing ability. She gave her fans and supporters a list of her prior accomplishments.
The caption has since been deleted from the post. But it looks like she was serious about it because The Sun revealed that she was working on a new song.
Britney Spears’ New Music And Collaborations
On March 20, 2022, The Sun reported exclusively that Britney was writing new tunes. According to insiders, her team has reached out to other musicians to collaborate with, and she intends to make a comeback.
The ‘Toxic’ singer is not putting any pressure on herself, even though she plans to release new music. Although she won’t be releasing “an album right away or anything,” her team is working with her to create the foundation for subsequent projects.
They contacted several individuals who Britney “feels comfortable working with.” When asked if they wished to work with the vocalist, these musicians responded that they were all “very interested.”
One such musician is Claude Kelly, who has worked with well-known names in the industry like Jessie J, Miley Cyrus, and Jason Derulo. Additionally, he worked with Britney Spears on her 2008 album Circus, “Circus.”
The musician seems to be genuinely thinking about putting out brand-new music soon. Although she hasn’t confirmed anything, it’s still big news for her and her admirers.
