After a lengthy and fruitful career, four-time Pro Bowler Jeff Garcia announced his retirement from football in 2011. He continues to participate in the sport even if he isn’t a professional player anymore. He hosts a number of kids’ football camps through his Jeff Garcia Football Program to mentor and coach upcoming football talents.
He served on the board of advisers for the reconstructed United States Football League (USFL), which made its debut in May 2012, in addition to his children’s football camps. The Los Angeles Rams hired Garcia as an offensive assistant in May 2015.
Garcia is still extremely passionate about sports despite having been out of the game for ten years. He is not, however, the only sports enthusiast in his family. His kids all enjoy playing football.
Jeff Garcia’s Post-Retirement Life
The former quarterback gave priority to his family after leaving the NFL. Garcia, who is married to Carmella DeCesare, a Playmate from 2004, often blogs about their four children, Preston, Jax, Jason, and Faith.
Garcia instills his love of football in his kids and is quite proud of them. He communicates with his children via athletics and has previously stated spending time with his lads discussing the game.
Jeff Garcia’s Relationship With His Wife
It’s unclear when Garcia and DeCesare began dating, but her mother, Carmen Figueroa, acknowledged Garcia was seeing her daughter in a September 2004 interview with Cleveland Magazine.
On April 21, 2007, the pair exchanged vows at the CordeValle Resort in San Martin, California. In 2012, Garcia even referred to his wife as his “agent,” saying that since their life with four young children was so hectic, any clubs interested in contacting him had to first convince her.
It’s totally crazy. With the amount of sleep we receive, I’m not sure how we function. But it’s really a gift. Although it’s odd to have four little children so close in age, they will eventually appreciate the connection.
Garcia has frequently expressed his gratitude to his wife for co-parenting their four children. Along with working together as parents, they established the Garcia Pass It On Foundation.
The organization was established to distribute resources to people in need. The pair wants to pass on their achievements to improve the lives of children and to give back in concrete ways to causes that are important to them.
Garcia’s Eyes Up Foundation also works to raise awareness and money for low-income communities’ community support, resources, and scholarships. According to his website, his goal is to use his professional success in the area as a platform to support charitable causes and uplift others.
