The guitarist appeared to recover swiftly, despite the fact that the stage’s medical professionals initially described his condition as “severe medical.” Fans were happy to see him waving at them as he was moved offstage and taken to the closest nearby hospital.
Santana previously underwent heart surgery in 2021, postponing his residency in Las Vegas for the month of December of that year.
Santana fainted due to dehydration and fatigue from his demanding schedule, according to the artist’s publicist Michael Vrionis, but was “doing OK” after being assessed in the emergency room at McLaren Clarkston Hospital.
With Earth, Wind & Fire, Santana is now touring in support of his Miraculous Supernatural 2022 tour. The journey began on June 17 and is scheduled to go through the end of August. During a Joy performance at Pine Knob Music Theatre, the guitarist passed out.
Santana will continue his commitment at the House of Blues in Las Vegas after the tour. In addition, he is developing a biographical documentary for Sony Music Entertainment and Imagine Documentaries.
