The couple initially stated that they had been living together since the outbreak. They said that their fears were resolved and that they were getting to know one another better.
Griffin stated that they became engaged under quarantine while searching for the ideal ring for Sklar.
He stated, however, that his spouse disliked surprises and that he had left her to purchase the ring she wished. After the interview, Sklar discovered the ring months later. On July 5, 2021, she confirmed her engagement on Instagram.
In a photo with her fiance, she displayed her oval diamond engagement ring. Griffin also announced the engagement on Instagram, where he posted a black-and-white version of Sklar’s photo and wrote, “Liked it, so I proposed.”
