On February 17, at the age of 48, Canadian singer-songwriter and co-founder of the band Sadies Dallas Good passed away. Sadies’ passing was confirmed on his official Facebook profile, which read:

The band started in 1994 and was still going strong when Good passed away. Only a few months have passed since the release of their most recent song, Message to Belial. A Canadian tour by Sadies was scheduled for April. It is not yet known if Sadies will go on performing after Good’s passing.
Dallas Good’s body was discovered
The singer-guitarist was the son of the Good Brothers’ Bruce Good, a legendary figure in Bluegrass music. Good was receiving treatment for a “coronary disorder,” which had been discovered earlier this week, according to the official Facebook message.
The 48-year-old died of natural causes, the statement added. The vocalist’s death could have been caused by coronary artery disease (CAD), one of the most common causes of death from cardiac problems, but the band did not specify this.
There isn’t much information available regarding Good’s personal life, although the band’s statement implies that he is survived by his spouse, sibling(s), and, most likely, his parents.

Good, his brother Travis Good, Sean Dean, and Mike Belitsky founded Sadies in 1994. 1995 saw the band’s self-produced record go on sale, a year after they formed. Precious Moments, the group’s first studio album, was released three years later.
Throughout their 27-year history, Sadies released around 13 albums. They have collaborated with other musicians and groups to release a few albums. They worked together in 2012 with the Good Brothers band, which consists of Dallas and Travis Good’s father and uncle.
