Miss Teen USA in the past The upcoming season of Are You the One? on Paramout will be hosted by Kamie Crawford. The ninth season of the series will premiere on January 18, 2023, and will move from MTV to Paramount+ after 8 years.
Ryan Devlin hosted Are You the One? for the first five seasons before being replaced by Terrence J for seasons six through eight. Are You the One, Season 9?
Kamie will accompany 22 single men and women on dates and help them develop emotional attachments with one another. She is well-known for hosting several popular television shows, including the Catfish and the Sweet Life: Los Angeles reunion episode.

Kamie Crawford, the oldest of five sisters, was born on October 25, 1992, in Cleveland, Ohio. She was a member of the cheerleading squad at Winston Churchill High School in Maryland.
Before becoming Miss Teen USA, Kamie was accepted into the Congressional Student Leadership Conference’s medical program at Georgetown University. She enrolled in the New York Film Academy in 2010 and earned a communications and media degree from Fordham University in 2015.
A friend encouraged Kamie to enter the pageant, and she began training with Miss Pennsylvania USA 2008 Lauren Merola. Kamie’s friend had competed in the same tournament two years before. Crawford was crowned Miss Maryland Teen USA 2010 after only five months of preparation.
In July 2010, she represented her hometown in the Miss Teen USA pageant. Kamie was the first woman and third Hispanic to win the Maryland championship. Crawford co-hosts Catfish: The TV Show with Nev Schulman on MTV and also hosts Are You the One. She has over 600,000 Instagram followers and is a social media influencer.
Crawford intends to use her fame as a model to:
“raise awareness of body positivity and diversity in the digital space and beyond.”
The Are You the One host was a voter engagement ambassador for the Congressional Black Caucus PAC during the 2020 election. She works with the NAACP, the California Department of Health, and the Pandemic Action Network as a volunteer.

According to the synopsis for the series on Paramount+:
“Twenty-two newly single men and women from all over the world underwent a rigorous matching procedure in order to find their “ideal mate.” The singles will come from all over the world and will live under one roof in a foreign country with one goal in mind: to find “the one.” Singles will have the opportunity to meet their soul mate once a week. And if they can find all 11 perfect matches at the same time, they’ll split a large monetary prize.”
Previously, the Are You the One? creators used a proprietary algorithm to connect 11 couples. The hopefuls will now live together and go on dates in the hopes of finding that elusive ‘perfect match.’ According to the previous season, the program’s main prize will be $1,000,000, with the producers deducting $250,000 for each incorrect match.
Are you the correct person? Season nine will have ten episodes that will air on Paramount+ every Wednesday at 3 a.m. ET. The series is produced by Rob LaPlante, Scott Jeffress, Howard Schultz, and Jeff Spangler.
