When asked about the ring, Quinto told ET Online that it wasn’t a wedding band and that his partner, McMillan, wasn’t yet his spouse.

He continued by claiming that the incidental photograph of him and McMillan was shot at a NeueHouse Hollywood event that was thrown by their friends, Modern Family actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson and his husband Justin Mikita. According to the actor, the couple’s charity, Tie the Knot, is commemorating five years of supporting organizations working for LGBTQ equality.
I’m just so proud of my buddies, he continued. “I’ve known Jesse for a very long time, and I’m happy for him. But more than that, I’m moved and inspired by how he’s utilized it to improve people’s lives. I’m pleased I was in town to support them in their celebration.
Quinto and McMillan had been dating since 2013, but their union came to an end at the beginning of 2019. They captivated fans with their chemistry throughout their years together, and many of them wanted to see them get married.
According to a person who spoke to People, the pair peacefully ended their relationship. Following the event, the two were sighted at several Oscar afterparties, which started the rumors. McMillan attended Elton John’s party, while Quinto attended the Vanity Fair Oscar Party.
Quinto hasn’t removed the pictures of McMillan he shared on Instagram despite their split. In a post from June 2018, for instance, he wished the model a happy birthday and wrote, “happy birthday to the most gorgeous person I know: @milesmcmillan.”
The actor also shared a picture of himself with McMillan and their two dogs on May 11, 2018, with the phrase “family photograph.”
