2) A partner in creating the Lookingglass Theatre Company
As a student at Northwestern, David Schwimmer co-founded Chicago’s Lookingglass Theatre Company with three of his friends. In 2013, Schwimmer presented the history of the business to attendees at his alma mater, according to The Daily Northwestern.
Schwimmer was ready to direct a school production of Alice in Wonderland until he discovered there was no practice space provided by the institution. The determined student used the money he received at his bar mitzvah to rent out his own home.
