Bartise Bowden, an athlete who starred in Love Is Blind
In the third season of Love is Blind, a 27-year-old resident of Dallas, Texas embarks on a mission to find a suitable partner with whom he can spend the rest of his life.
According to his Netflix biography, laughter is Bartise’s number one priority. “He’s looking for someone who can “take all of his jokes” and “crack some back,” he explains.
Stephen and Ayesha Curry are the ultimate couples, according to Bartise. The biography proceeds:
“Bartise claims he is still unmarried due to “pickiness,” and he wants to demonstrate that gym-loving individuals like himself have greater “value” than his training lifestyle.
Bartise was an athlete and a basketball player in high school. But, injuries prohibited him from playing, and approximately seven years ago he began weight training. He detailed his illnesses in an interview with BodyBuilders.com, stating:
After injuring my ankle during my senior year of high school basketball, I realized my dreams of playing Division I basketball were over. I attended a Division III school to play basketball, but after breaking my second ankle and undergoing a second surgery, I gave up the sport.
According to him, his passion for weightlifting has helped him balance his physical and mental health. Around the age of 20, he started lifting weights. In an interview in 2019, Bartise stated:
“I started doing weights when I was 20 years old, around four years ago. I became captivated by the process. I am physically, mentally, and emotionally dependent on progression. It intrigues me how regulating and directing what we eat and how we exercise can drastically transform our bodies.”
Bartise earned a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Texas at Dallas in 2017 and a Master of Science in Accounting in 2018.
From 2017 to 2018, he worked as an Audit Intern and Accounting Tutor before becoming an Audit Associate in 2020 and a Senior Associate in 2021. He then joined a healthcare company as a Senior Analyst in 2022.

The third season of Love is Blind is nearly upon us. The episodes, which will be presented by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, will feature cast members falling in love and proposing to their selected partners. On Wednesday, Season 3 of Love is Blind will launch on Netflix.
