American Idol Season 21 recently returned to ABC, and fans are already glued to their performances every Sunday night. The series’ second installment will air on February 26, 2023, at 8 p.m. ET/ 7 p.m. CT.
The renowned reality TV competition series will introduce new and ambitious contestants in the hopes of impressing the judges and winning a golden ticket to Hollywood. Caroline Kole, who appeared on NBC’s Songland recently, is one such candidate. She’s now competing on American Idol, and she hopes to win the competition this season, which will air exclusively on ABC.
Caroline Kole: Who Is She?
Caroline was born in July 1997. She is a composer, vocalist, and musician. Suite Her first stage name was Caroline. Despite being born in Houston, Texas, she was raised in Tampa Bay, Florida, and now lives in Nashville, Tennessee. She briefly attended St. Paul’s School, where she played volleyball. Caroline began her musical journey at the age of ten. When she was 14, she started playing at the Country Music Association. In 2013, she released her first five-song CD and went on tour with Reba McEntire. The global journey lasted two years.
Caroline discussed American Idol in an exclusive interview with the Tampa Bay Times prior to her debut on the show.
“When I was a kid, I used to watch the show, and my first performance was Kelly Clarkson at Ruth Eckerd Hall.”
Caroline revealed the following information about a song she wrote for a documentary:
“I adore the Clearwater Marine Museum, or CMA for short. When I first moved to Nashville, it took me a while to get used to that because the CMA stands for Country Music Association.”

Ryan Seacrest will host Season 21 of American Idol, and the judges will include Lionel Richie, Luke Bryan, and Katy Perry. The format is the same as in previous seasons. The season began with tryouts, where candidates who were chosen received a golden ticket to Hollywood. Those who make it through Hollywood Week advance to the Demonstration Round. They then proceed to the Top 24, where the candidates who make it through this round will have the opportunity to perform live.
The judges will have no say in the outcome once the Live Performances begin. Supporters will vote from home to keep their preferred candidate in the race. Finally, the winner will receive a record contract as well as the season 21 championship. The second episode of Season 21 of American Idol will air on ABC on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/ 7 p.m. CT.
