Season 44 of Survivor, which premieres on March 1, will feature 18 people from across the country attempting to survive in harsh wilderness conditions while competing for sustenance and relationships.
As is customary, the ensemble will be divided into three groups of people from various backgrounds. Jaime Lynn Ruiz, 35, is a marketing expert who will compete in Survivor season 44 with a four-person team. She is also a meditator and considers herself to be the next lone survivor. Jaime stated in a recent CBS broadcast:
“My yoga and meditation will be my beacons. It reminds me of my strength, which will aid me in winning the competition.”
She also mentioned that she enjoys “speaking things into existence.”

Ruiz describes herself as “energetic, attractive, and caring,” and hails from Mesa, Arizona. She has spent the last decade in corporate America, working with “diverse types and building successful teams.” She wants to make lifelong friends, have an unforgettable experience, and win a million dollars on Survivor.
Jamie revealed in an interview that she has been a fan of the show since its inception and has numerous Cassette recordings. She enjoys “speaking things into existence,” and she recently quit her job to “pursue her aspirations.”Jaime enjoys a wide range of activities such as farming, meditation, cooking, and sports. She also stated her desire to manage the game through collaboration, saying:
“I will place a premium on loyalty. I’m looking for a travel companion or I’ll perish!”
Ruiz stated in another interview that she has a connection with Maryanne, the season 42 winner because she made clever plays while playing and everyone overlooked her. She continued, saying:
“I’m sure people will describe me as effervescent, extroverted, and lively. And I’m hoping that will help me because, as vivacious as I am, I’ll be planning and playing chess in my head with all of the moving parts throughout the game.”
Jamie will seek out a cunning coalition companion who will deliver all game details to her. She is also ready to take advantage of any ‘beware benefits’ that are offered to her, because “it’s all or nothing.”
Survivor Season 44 was shot in Fiji
Survivor Season 44 will premiere on CBS on March 1 at 8:00 p.m. ET. The program will last two hours and will be available on Paramount Plus. The new season was shot in Fiji after March 2022. Jeff Probst will host the new season, which will have no specific theme. In the “most intense, unexpected, motivating, and exciting” season yet, the 18 castaways will compete in various tasks to earn the most prizes.
CBS describes the series as follows:
“Stranded on the beautiful islands of Fiji, 18 determined new castaways will be divided into three groups of six and forced to create a new society as they adjust to their physical and social circumstances.”
