Cancer claimed her life
The sudden death of Xana startled the nation. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, the most common form of bone cancer, in 2019. She fought the illness valiantly for five months but ultimately perished.
On August 29, 2019, her father Enrique revealed the tragic news of her passing in a statement that said, “Our daughter Xana passed away that afternoon after a five-month fight with Osteosarcoma.”
He praised his fans as well as the doctors, nurses, and medical staff for their efforts. He went on to explain that Xana will be remembered daily with the goal of reuniting and that she would be the family’s guiding light. Xana’s terrible death occurred while she was only nine years old.
The response of her sister upon her death
Xana was the youngest child of Sira Martinez and Pacho Martinez, her older siblings. Sira Martinez, her younger sister, is the Spanish youth equestrian champion.
During an interview with Vanity Fair, she highlighted the impact of her sister’s passing. She stated that her interactions with her sister have altered her perspective on life.
She continued by stating that she used to become overwhelmed by even the tiniest difficulties, but that she has matured to the point where she pauses to reflect and knows that we never know when we will die, so we should live our lives and appreciate every moment.
She is attempting to deal with everything while seeking the bright side. According to her father, he is incapable of falling in love with anyone other than her mother.

They met a year before Luis joined Barcelona and dated for years before getting married at Santa Maria del Mar in Barcelona on December 27, 1997. In the presence of 200 guests, the wonderful event was done at the Cathedral of la Ribera.
Enrique stated in an interview that he only falls in love with his wife. He maintains that his wife is the only one who supports him, and because they have been married for so long, he cannot fall in love with anybody else.
