Hulu’s next reality show, Hotties, will send participants on blind dates with a twist. Food is said to be the universal language of love, and this program will combine the two.
These contestants will not only go on blind dates, but they will also compete in the kitchen against other couples. The contestants will be judged by the show’s host, Jade Catta-Preta. In an interview with Interview, the Brazilian celebrity responded to the Hulu program:
“I believe everyone enjoys watching people eat hot food!” It’s a common occurrence. Take a look at Hot Ones or any of the games Jimmy Kimmel plays on his show where people eat hot foods. I believe we enjoy watching others lose control.”

Jade Catta-Preta, a comedian and actress, will host and judge Hulu’s dating reality show Hotties. When the couple wins, they have the option of going on a date or splitting the prize money and taking the cash. According to The Hotties’ press release, the concert will be:
“Four attractive individuals go on blind dates and compete in the kitchen to prepare date-night quality cuisine in this crazy dating challenge.” They must, however, overcome enormous hot food obstacles in order to continue cooking! Will the heat help them break through first date facades and form a more genuine connection… or will it all be a fun hot mess?”
The program will premiere on Hulu on August 16 at 12 a.m. ET. The ten episodes will be released all at once.
