Meghan McCain is expecting her second child with her husband, Ben Domenech. Meghan revealed the news to DailyMail on September 15, saying she was grateful for the opportunity to welcome a new family member this winter. She continued,
“We’re well on our way to meeting our newest daughter, and we couldn’t be more excited.” Our entire family, especially her grandmothers, cannot wait to lavish her with all of our love and attention. Ben and I are overjoyed and counting down the days until we can welcome our newest family member.”

Meghan McCain is a well-known personality, columnist, and author who has worked for ABC News, Fox News, and MSNBC. She was born on October 23, 1984. In 2007, she began her career by launching McCain Blogette, a blog about her father, John McCain’s, presidential campaign.
Despite the fact that her blogs were designed to gain support for her father among Generation Y voters, Steve Schmidt and other McCain campaign aides limited her appearances, calling her “extremely contentious.” McCain began writing for The Daily Beast in January 2009, and he signed a book contract with Hyperion in April 2009.

Meghan McCain and Ben Domenech got engaged in July 2017 and married in November of the same year, though how they met is unknown. The couple welcomed their first child, a girl named Liberty, in 2020. McCain told People that Liberty behaves similarly to her father, John. McCain stated,
“This is quite unusual… DNA and genes are strange beings. [Liberty] does it all the time with her hands, and [my father] used to do it all the time. It’s something I don’t do. “I’m not sure where she gets it, but she still does it.”
She continued,
“I told my mother-in-law that it bothers me because it’s a tic my father used to do with his hands.” So it’s something like that, but I loved my father and mother in the same way that I believe many people love their parents. They are the ones who raised you.”
McCain concluded that her father was “so much for so much of my life” in many ways, but “it is simply pure” with her daughter, and “she is perfection.”
