Nicholas Lloyd Webber, a composer and record producer, died in the Basingstoke Hospital in Hampshire after receiving treatment for stomach cancer.
The Grammy-nominated, 43-year-old eldest son of composer Andrew Lloyd Webber has passed away, the composer confirmed.
“His entire family is together, and we are all utterly devastated,” Lord Webber, 75, tweeted.
Two days ago, Lord Lloyd-Webber, whose popular musicals include Cats, said that Nick had been taken to a hospice.

Lord Lloyd-Webber posted a video to Instagram on Thursday in which he stated that his son was recovering from “this first episode of pneumonia” caught as a result of his “horrific” disease.
The composer, who also penned the music for The Phantom of the Opera and Jesus Christ Superstar, thanked the people of Ukraine in a video for sending him a Cats t-shirt in response to the news that his son was gravely ill.
Nicholas remarked,
“It’s extremely heartwarming… despite everything they’re going through, they’ve been so tremendously considerate of Nick.
“In a moment, I’m going to visit Nick, and I’m going to give him all of the wonderful wishes I’ve received from all around the world.”
