Ana began working for NBC affiliate KHQ-TV in Spokane, Washington, after receiving her degree.

 She returned to Denver to serve as the morning news anchor for KMGH-TV Channel 7 News.

She reported on both regional and international news, including the 2012 Denver Presidential Debate and the Aurora theater shooting. Similarly to this, she worked as a reporter and anchor for KHQ-TV, an affiliate of NBC, and KAYU-TV, an affiliate of FOX, from 2005 until 2009.
