Millie Bobby Brown has announced her engagement to her partner of two and a half years, Jake Bongiovi. The 19-year-old Stranger Things actress wrote alongside a photo of herself with Bongiovi, “I’ve loved you for three summers now, honey, and I want them all.”
The engagement ring was visible on her finger, and Millie Bobby Brown concluded her post with a white love heart emoji.
The 20-year-old actor Bongiovi is the son of the legendary singer Jon Bon Jovi.
Pixie Lott was among the celebrities who responded to Brown’s post, writing,
“OMG!!!! Congratulations, you two! We are so pleased for you!”
Additionally, Bongiovi shared the news on his own page, simply writing “forever” alongside two photographs of the couple.
Brown’s statement made allusion to the lyrics of Taylor Swift’s song Lover from her seventh studio album titled Lover.
The announcement follows weeks of rumors on social media that the couple is engaged.
In June 2021, Brown introduced Bongiovi to her Instagram followers by posting a photo of him. They later verified their relationship.
In another January Instagram post, Brown referred to Bongiovi as her “life partner” and posted several photos of the couple.
The upcoming fifth and final season of the Netflix series Stranger Things, where the English actress rose to prominence as a child star, will be the show’s last.
However, a Stranger Things prequel will be staged in London’s West End, and Netflix has also announced an animated television series.
Rockbottom is a new coming-of-age film in which Bongiovi recently won his second major role.
