Alex vs. America will return for a third season on the Food Network. Alex Guarnaschelli returns in the next season, which premieres on Sunday, April 16, 2023, to explain why an entire show is devoted to her defeat in the kitchen.
Several chefs will arrive during the tournament to demolish Alex, who is competing against two culinary professionals at the same time. According to the press release for the upcoming season:
“In Alex vs. America, acclaimed chef, and Food Network favorite Alex Guarnaschelli competes in two rounds against three culinary superstars.” The contestants come from all over the country, but they all have a mastery of a culinary genre that they have spent countless hours refining in their own kitchens and that will be put to the test in order to bring Alex down.”
Alex vs. America, as previously stated, will premiere on the Food Network on April 16, 2023, at 8 p.m. ET.

In the upcoming season of Alex vs. America, chefs will compete against one and Alex Guarnaschelli. They all enter the competition with the same goal in mind: to defeat Alex in her own kitchen. Each episode will feature three chefs from across the United States of America competing in two rounds, hosted by Eric Adjepong.
In the first round of Alex vs. America, the chefs and Guarnaschelli will have the option of collaborating to choose ingredients and determine how much time is on the clock. The candidates’ meals will be blind-tasted by two judges, who will decide who advances to the next round.
The winner of the first round determines the factors of the subsequent challenge as an advantage of winning. The winner of the second round receives “bragging rights and a cash prize.” Alex Guarnaschelli talked about the upcoming season, saying that returning to the show was a dream come true.
She expressed her excitement about returning to the Food Network with Eric Adjepong for a new season of Alex vs. America. Once again, the chef expressed her delight, saying she couldn’t wait to take her audience along for the ride. She continued, saying:
“I am so excited to take audiences on this journey as I pour my blood, sweat, and tears — literally! — into every culinary battle, as a group of chefs showcases their skills in an attempt to beat me.”
Warner Bros. Discovery’s head of the home and culinary programming, Jane Latman, commented on the show. She stated that the network is very excited for the chef to return to the ring and compete against a new crop of chefs who are all eager to beat one of Alex’s. Alex, according to Latman, is “one of the toughest and most hardworking chefs in the country.”
“With the cameras following Alex’s every move during the culinary battles, viewers are treated to a raw and fast-paced culinary competition unlike any other, which has helped the show become a hit.”
One of the next season’s themes is Southern Comfort. In this competition, Alex will face comfort food experts from Mississippi, Tennessee, and North Carolina. Following that, she will compete in Bacon against chefs from California, Massachusetts, and Colorado. Other topics include James Beard Award Winners, Hawaii, Pastry, Chicken, and Salmon. On Food Network on Sunday, April 16 at 8 p.m. ET, watch Alex vs. America.
