Many people are unfamiliar with Kim Gravel, the queen of beauty queens. So, hold on tight. Our Kim Gravel wiki has all the information you need to know about the beauty pageant expert. And she might be an expert in attitude as well!
Kim Gravel: Who Is She?
Kim Gravel was born Kimberly Hardee on July 27, 1971, making her 46 years old. She was born in South Carolina but was raised in Georgia in a close-knit family.
With her thick southern accent and undeniable sass, there’s no denying that this lady is a true Georgia peach! Growing up, she referred to herself as an “ugly duckling.”
Gravel was drawn to singing at a young age and never shied away from voicing her opinion (a trait that never wavered). Beloved was her recording group’s lead singer and songwriter.
She was the Miss Georgia Pageant’s Youngest Winner
Gravel went on to become one of the state’s youngest Miss Georgias, at 19 years old, in 1991.
Gravel also represented her home state in the Miss America pageant and was asked to be a United States Goodwill Ambassador to Japan.
Kim Gravel is a Multi-talented Individual
Gravel is a seasoned TV show host, public speaker, entrepreneur, and business owner. She won the Miss Georgia pageant in 1991.
She is also a frequent guest on Steve Harvey’s show. She also contributes frequently to the HLN network.
Gravel made an appearance on the “SiriusXM Radio Show Dirty Pop with Lance Bass.” But she is most well-known for her role as a pageant coach on the Lifetime reality show Kim of Queens.
Kim of Queens premiered on January 1, 2014, and followed Gravel, Jo Hardee, and Allisyn Varalla, Gravel’s younger sister. Gravel was seen training young girls for pageants, and viewers fell in love with the sassy blonde and her hilariously stern approach to the pageant world.
In one episode, she persuaded the girls to wrap a long piece of tape around their breasts to give them a “better lift” in their swimsuits. She was dead serious!
Gravel is also a fantastic painter! She has previously worked as a makeup artist for Christian Dior as well as several other major cosmetic companies. She has also served as a spokesperson for the National Cosmetology Association.
Gravel launched her cosmetic line in 2009 after years of working for others. She has also worked as a stylist and designed women’s clothing for the past 20 years.
Gravel is also a certified life coach, consultant, and advisor, owing to her exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
Gravel recently debuted her Belle by Kim Gravel and Belle Beauty products on QVC and QVC2.

The Pageant Site
Gavel runs The Pageant Place, a coaching facility in Georgia, with her sister Allisyn Varalla, mother Jo, and vocal coach Amy Goins. It is here that Gravel assists in the training of America’s young females to become pageant queens.
Varella’s specialties include preparing young girls for pageant interviews and enhancing their on-stage presence. The trio works well together and is all very enthusiastic about coaching girls of all ages at The Pageant Place to become the next big beauty queens.
What distinguishes Gravel is that she is forthright in her advice and the steps that must be taken to win the crown.
She is sorry About Losing Her Virginity
Gravel, along with Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay and Bridget Kelly, appeared on Steve Harvey’s show in May. When Harvey inquired about the ladies’ “first times,” Gravel stated that hers was with a football player from a rival high school.
In retrospect, she admits she regrets having sex with him. Gravel also stated that when she was dating her husband, they didn’t have sex until after they married, making it all the more special.
