Fully Agnes Wilson In the Central Luzon region of the Philippines, in the landlocked province of Nueva Ecija, was born and raised Agnes Sarmiento Wilson. Nevertheless, some claim she was born in Cabanatuan, a city in the Philippines.
Her family is said to have initially settled in Vallejo, California, however, it is unclear when they moved to the US. The Grammy-nominated artist’s mother attended Napa Valley College after completing her education at Vallejo High School.
It is assumed that she was raised in Vallejo, California, a Filipino community in Northern California where her family had also made their home. Her artist daughter has been to Nueva Ecija, in the Philippines, where her mother was born.
H.E.R. revealed in a Rappler interview that she has visited her mother’s hometown one or two times. She has also visited the area where her mother spent her formative years. In December 2019, H.E.R. claimed that she and her family took a long holiday there, which was incredibly humbling to her.
Relationship Between Agnes Wilson and Her Husband Kenny
When and how Agnes met Kenny Wilson, the father of H.E.R., are still unknown. The Slow Down singer and her younger sister, Alex Wilson, are the couple’s only daughters, and they are still married.
In Vallejo, California, Sarmiento and Wilson brought up their two daughters. The spouse of Agnes shares equal credit for the accomplishments of their first child, a Filipino woman.

H.E.R. gladly acknowledges his effect on her musical taste. The R&B performer stated in an interview that while she was growing up in the Bay Area, her father, a construction worker at the time, performed some music on the weekends. Ken gave his future singer daughter the chance to learn how to play a variety of instruments because her father’s colleagues used to practice in their living room.
