Amara was born in the United States on August 20, 2002. She is the second child of Martin and Shamicka Gibbs, his former spouse. Her father gained notoriety after starring in several blockbuster films, including Bad Boys, Blue Streak, and others.
Her mother, meanwhile, is a well-known American TV personality who made an appearance in the Hollywood Exes series. She is also a successful businesswoman who owns numerous Massage Envy locations across the US.

Jasmine Page Lawrence, Amara’s half-sister, was born on January 15, 1996, and she is one of Amara’s two siblings. Martin and his first wife, Patricia Southall, had one kid together, named Jasmine. They wed in 1995 and divorced in 1997. By chance, Martin and Patricia’s union occurred the same year that he began dating Amara’s mother Shamicka.
There is yet another girl in the Lawrence household in addition to Jasmine. Iyanna Faith Lawrence is who she is. She is Amara’s biological sister and Martin and his ex-wife’s first kid.
