Dr. John Forsyth’s Obituary in Missouri
Dr. John Forsyth, a Missouri physician who had been absent for over a week, was discovered dead in northwest Arkansas, according to his family.
The 49-year-old physician was last seen on May 21 and was reported missing after failing to report to work at Cassville’s Mercy Hospital.
His abandoned vehicle was discovered in a Cassville park, along with his possessions. The precise circumstances surrounding his death are unknown.

John Forsyth’s Death Cause Linked To Murder
Dr. John Forsyth, age 49, was reported missing on May 21, and his body was regrettably discovered in a lake in northwest Arkansas on May 30.
His brother Richard expressed astonishment and suspicion, implying that John’s disappearance may have occurred under unusual circumstances.
John was recently betrothed just three days prior to his disappearance.
Richard’s ex-wife was awarded approximately $19,000 per month in alimony and child support as part of an uncontested divorce settlement that was formalized on May 11.
John was reported missing on May 21 after Dr neglected to report for work at Mercy Hospital, causing concern on the part of his employer.
John had always notified them in advance if he couldn’t make a shift in the past, so this was atypical behavior, according to his employer.
Authorities did not provide additional information at the time, leaving queries unanswered as to whether his death was the result of foul play or self-infliction.
The unlocked vehicle of John, which contained his wallet, two phones, and a laptop, was discovered near a public pool in Cassville, Missouri, where he worked.
The location where his body was discovered is roughly 20 miles from Cassville.
John’s brother, Richard Forsyth, mentioned that surveillance footage from the pool captured John’s vehicle entering the parking lot, followed shortly thereafter by a white SUV parking nearby.
