Due to his husband’s failing health, Mr. Greenwald chose to withdraw from Mr. Miranda’s reelection campaign last year.
Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva sent his condolences to Glenn Greenwald and his family. He was “a young man with an extraordinary career, who left too soon,” according to Lula.
