In relation to the death of a four-year-old girl in June, Ashley Hernandez-DeJesus and Rocky Hernandez-DeJesus have been detained.
On Tuesday, December 27, New Britain residents Ashley and Rocky were arrested.
Charges against the two New Britain residents include manslaughter, injury to a minor, and making a false statement, among other offenses.
On Wednesday, the suspects are scheduled to appear in court. As the investigation goes on, more details will surface.

A man and a woman are detained in connection with the death of a 4-year-old in June at 873 East St. in New Britain.
Ashley Hernandez-DeJesus, 28, and Rocky Hernandez-DeJesus, 31, were both taken into custody.
The accused were transported to the Bristol Police Department after being apprehended in New Britain.
According to Bristol Police, the couple is facing a number of crimes, including manslaughter.
They are accused with first-degree manslaughter, deliberate cruelty to people, first-degree unlawful restraint, endangering the welfare of a minor, and conspiring to endanger the welfare of a minor.
In addition, Rocky Hernandez-DeJesus is charged with giving a false statement to the police.
According to Bristol Police, the two were accused as a result of an investigation into the death of a 4-year-old girl in June.
They haven’t added much detail, though. They claimed they would not reveal the identity of the victim’s victim.
The same New Britain address is listed as the home of Ashley and Rocky Hernandez-DeJesus. According to WFSB, they are a married couple.
However, the suspects’ relationship to the murdered youngster was not made clear by the authorities.
They were freed on $250,000 cash/surety bonds; still, they must show up in court on December 28.
The Bristol Girl’s Murder Case: What Comes Next?
Ashley Hernandez-DeJesus, 28, and Rocky Hernandez-DeJesus, 31, both from New Britain’s East Street, are currently being held in detention.
Lt. Geoffrey Lund, a public information officer for the Bristol Police Department, reported that they were taken into custody at a location in the city on the basis of arrest warrants related to the June death of a little girl.
Events that caused the death are thought to have taken place in Bristol, according to Lund.
In addition, he mentioned that the inquiry had started in June, but he made no mention of the child’s identify, manner of death, or relationship to the accused.
The arrests were made by Bristol Police with the aid of Local Police.
The New Britain Criminal Investigations Division assisted the Bristol authorities on Tuesday in serving the arrest warrants for Ashley and Rocky in New Britain.
On Wednesday, December 28, the New Britain pair will appear before a judge in New Britain Superior Court.

With both suspects identified and apprehended, the case seems to have settled down. However, until the court sessions are over, it is too early to make any firm statements.
