The 45-page complaint filed in New York State Supreme Court claims that in June 2019, Scaglia “begged” his then-fiancée Haart to take up the position of CEO of EWG.
Instead of accepting a salary from the company, she alleges he convinced her to agree to EWG paying a management fee of 2% of their yearly income to the parent company, over which they would be equal partners.

Scaglia’s lawyer, however, disputed her allegations in a statement to PEOPLE, claiming that Haart’s claims of 50 percent ownership had previously been dismissed by one court. PEOPLE contacted representatives for Feinman and Barbieri for comment, but they did not respond.
