The event, which happened between the Goulburn Islands and Maningrida, roughly 500 kilometers east of Darwin, prompted several inquiries.
The inquiry established that the Helicopter’s engine shut off before it impacted the ground before Matt Wright was apprehended.
He is the third individual to be detained in connection with the February helicopter crash that claimed a person’s life.
When Matt showed up at the airport for his arrest, there was a large media and press presence; even then, the news has been trending.

While Chris Wilson, Matt Wright’s co-star, and close friend, perished in the helicopter accident, Matt Wright is still alive.
Wright was not on the helicopter when the tragedy occurred, and Wilson was working a job collecting crocodile eggs in February.
Wilson was discovered dead at the game, while Matt Wright just had a minor injury during the cash.
Wilson and Wright got along well too. They work closely together to control and transport crocodiles. Wilson discusses in his Netflix series how he and Wright struck up a friendship over a couple of rum bottles years before.
Wright posted a tribute to the deceased Wilson after the accident, referring to him as his “brother,” further demonstrating the strong bond they had.
He said in the post that “We started such an amazing journey many years ago; you were my right and left-hand man — nothing was ever too hard, you made shit happen & were the best teammate I could have ever asked for.”
Looking at the post, which he uploaded with a lengthy commentary, it does not appear that he was responsible for any wrongdoing during the collision.
Where is Matt Wright Now After His Arrest And Charge?
Matt Wright has appeared at a Darwin Police station to account for his activities about the loss of his close friend Chris in a helicopter crash.
He showed up at the police station on Tuesday morning after the arrest warrant was made public on Monday.
On a Qantas aircraft leaving Sydney this morning, Daily Mail Australia got photographs of the celebrity putting his baggage in an overhead compartment.
The 43-year-old Wright is accused of perverting the course of justice, destroying evidence, forging evidence, tampering with witnesses, and unauthorized entrance, among other offenses.
He had 48 hours to be in the police station by the deadline, but he didn’t show up until 24 hours after the warrant was issued.
Regarding the crash money, Wright and two other persons were also detained. A former senior Northern Territory Police officer named Neil Mellon was detained by colleagues looking into the matter in August after six months of inquiry.
The exposure of private information and getting advantages via fraud were among the charges against the police officer.
Bush pilot Michael Burbidge was accused of four counts, including attempting to obstruct justice and deleting evidence, after a month in September.
However, he was not the only pilot in the helicopter accident that resulted in their close friend’s demise. Wright was the helicopter’s pilot when it crashed.
Matt Wright just showed up at the police this morning, so further details regarding his case are still forthcoming.
