But if she were given a life sentence, she would only be eligible for parole after thirty years, which would be on March 30, 2025.

She had been incarcerated and there was no word on when she might be released. And she will probably work as a food server inside the prison till she passes away.

Saldvar was sacked from his job a week ago due to a financial issue at the club, so Selena agreed to meet him at a Days Inn motel in Corpus Christi to obtain financial papers.
She shot her after they had met at the hotel when she pulled a revolver from her purse. The killer shot the singer from behind as she attempted to flee, causing her to fall to the ground.

After only two hours of deliberation, a jury in a Texas courtroom found Yolanda Saldava guilty of first-degree murder.
She was given a life sentence and will likely remain behind bars until she passes away.
Saldvar was in a tense standoff with police in her pickup truck in the motel parking lot for ten hours before she was finally taken into custody.
She received her sentence three days after the investigation and court records. It was obvious she was the murderer.
Although the cause of the singer’s death was not made public, her parents did say that Saldvar had just been sacked for misusing some of the club’s funds.
Hopefully after she is released on parole in 2025, she won’t try anything unlawful.
