As previously stated, the disappearance of Emily Barger, a 14-year-old girl from Floyd County, has caused Indiana State Police to issue a Silver Alert for her. She was last seen in Georgetown, Indiana, around one a.m. on March 6, according to the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office.
The police fear she is in grave danger. Barger meets the Silver Alert criterion, which is often issued in the case of missing or endangered people or children. Amber Alerts, on the other hand, are issued for children under the age of 18 who are suspected to be kidnapped and in danger.
Barger is described as a Caucasian girl with blonde hair and blue eyes, measuring 5 feet tall and weighing 85 pounds. Unfortunately, no information on what she was wearing at the time of her disappearance is available. Because Emily Barger’s whereabouts are unknown, anybody with information is asked to contact the Floyd County Sheriff’s Department at 812-948-5400 or ring 911.

No information on Emily Barger’s parents has been released as of yet, but they must be going through a horrible time. While her family waits for her daughter to come home, police are looking for her. The need to get her securely home is critical.
Given the grave fears regarding Emily Barger’s safety, law enforcement authorities are devoting all available resources to the hunt for any clues that might lead to her whereabouts. The police are also asking anybody with knowledge regarding Emily’s whereabouts to come forward and help with the hunt.
People are intrigued because authorities have declared Emily’s disappearance a “Silver Alert,” which is generally issued for missing or endangered adults or children. However, the criterion for issuing Silver Alerts has lately been increased to include missing children.
