On Monday, December 26th, a man and a woman were detained in connection with the “cold-blooded” murder of a 26-year-old woman who was shot in the head at a pub on Christmas Eve. A 30-year-old guy was arrested in Tranmere on Monday night on suspicion of murder and attempted murder, according to police.
Another suspect, a 19-year-old Rock Ferry woman, was seized on suspicion of murder plot. Detectives will interview both people who have been apprehended. Furthermore, the suspects’ names are said to be Sam Searson and Clio Groom.

Elle Edwards (aka Ellie) was fatally shot, and four others were wounded. Edwards was sent to Arrowe Park Hospital but died there. According to reports, Elle Edwards was not the intended victim of the open shooting. She was having a good time at the Lighthouse Pub in Wallasey Village with her sister.
Condolences have been sent to Elle. People have described her as a lovely angel with a pure heart. Following the incident, a 28-year-old Beechwood resident was allegedly in critical condition and struggling for his life in the hospital. Three more people, aged 22, 24, and 33, were injured as well. Fortunately, they only received minor injuries.
The Edwards family is still coming to terms with their tragic loss
After Elle Edwards was slain on Christmas Eve, her family was horrified and inconsolable. On December 26, the victim’s family was informed of her death. It was intended to be a fun day with friends and family. They are, nevertheless, dealing with the awful loss. Detective Superintendent Sue Coombs described her killing as a “cold-blooded shooting.”
“Our specially trained family liaison officers are assisting Elle’s family as they cope with her tragic loss,” the detective said. People who knew Ellie remembered her as a lovely angel with a pure heart. She was a beautician who worked in a Wirral beauty shop.
Her company, Moreton, Wirral-based Nova Beauty, paid her a moving homage. In an Instagram post, the studio applauded Ellie for her brilliant grins and laughter, stating it was at a loss for words.
“Heaven has gained the most beautiful angel,” Ellie’s boss said on Instagram. Tributes are flowing in from across the world. Britt Hughes, one of Ellie’s pals, posted on Facebook, “Christmas will never be the same again.” “You will be missed, my lovely best friend.” “Last night, this angel got her wings and flew to the stars,” wrote another victim’s acquaintance. I’ve always considered you my big sister, and I can’t believe you were taken away from us so soon.”
