Saturday will be 48 years old in 2023 since he was born on June 18, 1975, in Atlanta, Georgia. He attended Shamrock High School in Decatur, Georgia, in 1993.
In a 2012 Sports Illustrated story, Ron Gartrell, his high school coach, said on Saturday, “Our offensive production was 80% behind Jeff.
We put up Jeff on one side of the defense and all of our other powerful players on the other because opponents rushed to avoid Jeff.
Gartrell demonstrated his inability to persuade Southeastern Conference schools of his talent when he said that coaches at Georgia and Tennessee believed Saturday was too short to compete in the conference in the same interview.
