Sunday World reports that South African rapper and TV host Jub Jub has been arrested and accused of rape, attempted murder, and assault.
Molemo Maarohanye, a former Uyajola 9/9 TV presenter and artist, is expected to face charges of attempted murder, rape, and assault in a Johannesburg court.
According to the article, Maarohanye surrendered to police in Brixton on Thursday, July 27, after an arrest warrant was issued.
“Police can confirm that a well-known rapper turned himself into police in Brixton on Thursday, July 27, 2023, following the issuance of an arrest warrant,” said Mavela Masondo, a spokesperson for the Gauteng police.
