Dr. Hilary Jones, who joined Lorraine and Paul on the program to talk about the symptoms of prostate cancer, recommended that all men over 50 obtain a PSA test for the disease.

Paul said that his cancer was on the outside of his prostate, that it resembled a “blister,” and that if it broke, it may spread the illness.

Paul will have surgery in late February and is now receiving accelerated treatment. He has had “plenty of support,” Lorraine has assured him, and he has added, “I will get through this.”
