Christopher Jonathan Hollins is a journalist, TV personality, and broadcaster from England. He had previously played first-class cricket, although he is most known for winning Strictly Come Dancing in 2009 and serving as a sports reporter for BBC Breakfast from 2008 to 2012.
From 2010 to 2015, Hollins hosted the BBC’s Watchdog show on consumer rights. Hollins was born into a footballing family in the south London borough of Bromley. John Hollins, his father, was a professional footballer who played for Queens Park Rangers, Chelsea, Arsenal, and England. His uncle David was a Newcastle United goalkeeper who also represented Wales eleven times.
