After a sad incident, Chad A. Runyan, 32, of Transfer, left his family and community grieving deeply. He was shot dead in the early hours of Sunday morning in Sharon, leaving everyone stunned and incredulous. Chad’s life was cut short when the Sharon Regional Medical Center Emergency Department declared him dead at 2:36 in the morning.
According to a news release from Mercer County Coroner John Libonati, the death was ruled a homicide and the cause of death was a gunshot wound to the chest. Following this tragic death, the Runyan family is experiencing excruciating sorrow and grief.
The community is in mourning with them as a result of Chad’s sudden death, which has left an enduring gap in their hearts. Chad Runyan: 32-Year-Old Fell Victim To Shooting
Tragically, 32-year-old Transfer resident Chad A. Runyan was shot and killed in Sharon. Gunshots were reported in the 400 block of Baldwin Avenue at 1:43 in the morning on Sunday. Upon arriving at the site, the Sharon Police Department discovered that Chad was suffering from several gunshot wounds.
He received emergency care from first responding cops and was taken to the emergency department of Sharon Regional Medical Center. Unfortunately, Mercer County Coroner John Libonati determined that Chad Runyan had died from a gunshot wound to the chest at 2:36 in the morning. The authorities are actively investigating this unfortunate incident and are making great efforts to obtain additional information.
Throughout this process, the Mercer County District Attorney’s Office, the Mercer County Coroner’s Office, and the Sharon Fire Department are providing support to the Sharon Police Department. Concerns were expressed by the neighborhood after the incident, which happened about a block and a half northeast of C.M. Musser Elementary School.
