Bec’s uncles, Terry, Anthony, and Chris, all played professional football for Essendon. Bec Daniher was also a professional rower. Bec Daniher’s spouse, Drew Howell, is a musician. The couple and their children live in Abbotsford, Victoria, Australia. Drew is the Managing Owner of Red Handed Clothing Co. and a Business Development Consultant at Wescott Industrial Services Australia. Meanwhile, he volunteers with FightMND, the organization created by his wife’s father.
Drew graduated from the University of Wollongong with a Bachelor of Commerce in 2005. Bec has been married to her spouse for almost a decade. They started dating in 2014. Drew proposed to Bec on October 30, 2016. Bec and Drew married on April 24, 2017, and they’ve been going strong ever since.
Their marriage produced two children. The oldest, Billie, was born on November 15, 2021. Similarly, the couple had their second child, Hazel Jean, on August 6, 2023. Bec’s Instagram posts frequently show glimpses of fatherhood. On various times, she publishes photos of her children.
A Status Report on Neale Daniher
In a recent interview with “Let’s Talk,” Bec Daniher provided some important updates on her father’s health. Neale was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) in 2013. The doctor advised him that he would not survive the first 27 months. According to his daughter Bec Daniher, he has overcome the odds ten years after his diagnosis, in 2023. The sickness, on the other hand, is gradually but surely shifting the odds. Neale’s ability to communicate has been lost.
“Dad can’t talk anymore,” Bec observed. The presence of death is more palpable than ever… “I can sense it creeping up on me.”
Her famous father, Neale, is a co-founder of FightMND, an organization dedicated to finding a cure for MND and creating a world free of MND. FightMND has raised almost AUD 10.45 million for disease research. Unfortunately, there is no known cure for MND in humans, while a pharmaceutical therapy to help delay development has been approved.
