A situation like this, however, did not deter the high jumper. Instead, she focused on increasing her skills by working harder than everyone else. Yaroslava was awarded the opportunity to compete in the 2017 IAAF World U18 Championships, where she won gold. The high jumper has been a standout in her field since then.
