Rather, in August 2020, the film’s lead actor, Black Panther, passed away from colon cancer. Ryan had shared about how painful it was for him to hear the news.
Four years before, actor Chadwick Boseman, who plays T’Challa, the title character in Black Panther, received a Stage 3 Colon Cancer diagnosis. Up until he died in 2020, he maintained a very low profile.
